Refund Policy

1. Non-Refundable Payments

Any and all payments made to B.A.S.E. Awards / Qnox Advertising — including but not limited to:

• Nomination fees
• Registration fees
• Category entry fees
• Participation fees
• Processing charges
• Shortlisting fees
• Event passes & gala tickets
• Photography & Cinematography Award participation fees
• Sponsorship and partnership contributions
• Table bookings and seat purchases
• Any other payment of any nature

… are 100% non-refundable once received, regardless of the reason for the refund request.

2. Circumstances Where Refunds Will NOT Be Issued

This includes, without limitation, the following situations:

• Disqualification of nomination for any reason — including incomplete information, ineligibility, or breach of terms.
• Withdrawal by the nominee or applicant — voluntary or otherwise.
• Non-selection or non-shortlisting by the jury.
• Failure to attend the event, gala, or scheduled shoot day.
• Inability to participate due to personal, professional, medical, travel, or visa reasons.
• Change of mind after submission or payment.
• Postponement, rescheduling, or change of venue of the event.
• Event cancellation due to force majeure — including but not limited to pandemics, natural disasters, government restrictions, civil unrest, strikes, or any event outside our reasonable control.
• Dissatisfaction with the outcome, award, jury decision, ceremony, or any aspect of the event.
• Technical issues during online submission or payment.
• Duplicate payments — please verify before submitting payment, as duplicates are non-refundable.

3. No Chargebacks

By making a payment to B.A.S.E. Awards / Qnox Advertising, you agree not to initiate, threaten, or process any chargeback, payment reversal, or dispute through your bank, credit card provider, or payment gateway. Any chargeback attempt will be contested with this policy as documented evidence of the non-refundable agreement, and may result in legal action and recovery of associated costs.

4. No Cash, No Credit, No Transfer

Payments made are non-transferable to another individual, organisation, edition, season, or service. No cash equivalents, credit notes, vouchers, or partial refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

5. Substitution Policy

In limited cases — entirely at the sole discretion of B.A.S.E. Awards — a substitute representative from the same organisation may be permitted to attend the event in place of the originally registered participant. Such substitution requests must be made in writing at least 7 days prior to the event and are subject to approval. No refund applies even where substitution is denied.

6. Force Majeure

In the event that the awards ceremony or related activity is cancelled, postponed, or modified due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including but not limited to acts of God, pandemics, epidemics, government orders, lockdowns, war, terrorism, fire, flood, or strikes — B.A.S.E. Awards / Qnox Advertising shall have no obligation to refund any fees paid. We may, at our sole discretion, offer participation in a rescheduled or future edition.

7. Acknowledgement

By submitting your nomination, application, or making any payment to B.A.S.E. Awards / Qnox Advertising, you confirm that you have read, fully understood, and unconditionally accepted this Refund Policy in its entirety. You waive any right to claim a refund, chargeback, or compensation in respect of any payment made.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

By proceeding with any payment, you expressly acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by this Refund Policy. This policy forms a binding part of the agreement between you and B.A.S.E. Awards / Qnox Advertising.
